Gypsy Girl: Poised & Polished

I am currently in the midst of my summer project of refinishing the hardwood floors in my house. It's coming along nicely, once we got the right equipment. Hoping to be able to start sealing today! I will show my before and after pictures once everything is back in its place. My entire living room is crammed into my kitchen. Hubby was good enough to set the computer up in the space I left open across from the sink. It's a little awkward, but do-able.

While things were being moved from one room to the next, Gypsy Girl arrived two months early! It is now available in all precuts.
I love the mix of colors Lily Ashbury uses in her line. I can't say this what I usually go for, but I do love these fabrics. Maybe because she included printed gingham, or maybe because her floral designs are gorgeous. I think overall, the use of these colors with prints really do look they belong in a gypsy caravan.

I feel a little like a gypsy right now. With the refurbishing of my home, I have been staying with family while my floors are being finished. It has been a lot of traveling. A lot of back and forth. A lot of doing with out and making do.

One more thing that arrived over the weekend is a new pattern from Basic Grey featuring their newest line Little Black Dress, which should be arriving later this month.

Introducing Poise & Polish.
