My first stop was to the Ribbon Candy Quilt Company. I picked up their 3 newest patterns.
This fabulous quilt is from Violet Craft, who is an absolute doll! And features her new line, Madrona Road for Michael Miller Fabrics
The pattern is not available yet, but as soon as it is, it will be the shop.
Of course I had to take a lingering visit to the Benartex booth and check out the quilts I had helped to sew up.
We finished 10 quilts, but they only wanted half of that. I think Kimberly sent down 8 quilts, for good measure.
There were some really cute things made up by their design team as well.
Like this child's big top tent. How perfect for reading books, or napping. My kids would be in there all day!
And this diaper/tote bag.
and the inside ...
Getting good pictures proved a little difficult. The quilts had display lights in the middle on the quilt. My camera thought that was enough light and wouldn't flash. There's a tiny bit of camera blur, which I didn't notice until uploading today.
This was the first quilt I helped with. It was a complete team effort between Kimberly, her mother and myself. I ended up getting charge of it to finish.
all the fabric swatches laid out while placing my order.
I also found Metropolitan Quilts while having our sneak preview the night before. As soon as I saw this quilt, I knew I needed to have it in store. I'm not sure when the patterns will ship, but I'll let ya know when they arrive!
Another great pattern on order from Metropolitan Quilts. I love the big red bird.
Lastly for today, (because my computer is starting to be uncooperative) from ADORNit comes one of their new lines: Capri - arriving in July.
I'm going to take a break and get started on a dress for my little girl.
I have more to share about market, just so long as my computer doesn't freeze again.
Maybe that's it's way of telling me it needs a break too!
Oh, and I did make it to Riley Blake today and picked up precuts of Alpine Wonderland and
Dress Up Days (yardage to come later).
If I don't get back in time -- Have a great weekend everyone!
Love all those quilts - so many of them make me want to go out and get the material, especially the madrona road quilt!
