Sweethearts Charm Swap

Update: January 19, 2012
Thank you to all who posed interest for this swap. The response was not near enough to continue.
I will repost a different swap sometime in the future and hope you will join.

I joined a charm swap a couple months ago, and loved it! I still have to figure out what to make with all my pretty new charms, but am narrowing it down. I have been thinking of hosting a swap myself, and today, I think I came up with a good one. I thought about doing a year long swap, meaning - once a month. Which got me thinking about each month, and what they represent. I thought it would be fun to do a swap in conjunction to each month.

The first month we will be starting with is February for the Sweethearts Charm Swap.

The Rules:

28 spots available. This is first come, first serve. Once you are accepted to the swap, you will receive an email with the mailing address to send your charms. Please be sure to leave your email if you are a no-reply blogger, or you will not be accepted. This post will be updated once swap is full.
Each participant is to contribute their choice of 1 yard of fabric (100% cotton or organic cotton quilting weight fabric)  - cut into 56 (5"x5") charm squares. In return, you will receive 56 charms, 2 of each fabric.
Upload your selected fabric to the flickr group as to avoid any duplicates.
Fabric should be Sweetheart/Valentine coordinated, either solid or print. If you choose to purchase your yard of fabric from the Fabric Seeds shop, I will cut your charms for you. Just pay the return postage (with tracking is about $3.09, if you prefer no tracking, I will refund the difference. Please leave a note at checkout so I know it is for the swap)
All fabrics need to be mailed by February 1, 2012. Include a self-addressed & stamped return envelope to receive your new charms.

So, Anyone wanna swap? Please leave a comment if you do!
