Cuzco & Marmalade

A huge box of October precuts arrived yesterday.
                                                                       The box included:

Cuzco by Kate Spain for Moda

Trek beyond the city gates, through wild gardens where peacocks roam, over valleys and hills, and up the highest mountains. In rich colors of fuchsia, indigo, patina and orchid, the patterns in this collection are Inspired by the colorful weavings, landscapes, and layers of cultures in its namesake place. Cuzco offers you a new journey into the exotic and ancient — where hidden sanctuaries and adventure await you!

The cover of the Layer Cake is probably my favorite piece in this line.
I love the peacocks.

And just look at all these purples!

Also arrived is Marmalade by Bonnie & Camille for Moda.

Back in the good ol' days kids would jump off the bus and run into the house, dropping their books as they went, heading straight for the kitchen. Mom was usually there in her frilly apron, cooking something delicious. Jellies and jams were always a favorite. Depending on the season, it could be strawberry, raspberry, huckleberry or peach. Mom knew just how to make it so that when you spread butter on bread fresh out of the oven and smothered it with marmalade, you knew you were home.

I am loving the addition of apricot to this line, beautiful!!

Moda has also starting doing some precuts in flannels.
Marmalade was one of them. I ordered small quantities as a trial base to see how well received they would be.

The charm packs are still 42 pieces.

The fat quarter bundle contains the 16 pieces that were printed for flannel from this line.

What do you think about new flannel precuts?
