Huggable Slugs {Part 2}

I spent a couple hours the other day making these adorable slugs.

These cute little guys are going to some special boys I picked off the Angel Tree. I plan to make a few more. They are so quick and easy to whip up. As in, 20 minutes to cut and sew.
 I accidentally cut the same side twice and had to cut new pieces; so I decided rather than having the extra piece go to waste, I might as well make two of the same.

You could easily use scraps. I used fat quarters, and had more than half of the main fabric left over. The belly takes such a small strip, maybe 4 inches at the widest part.

My boy was so excited that I made these. I hope the boys who get them will be just as excited.

The pattern was purchased from Create H.O.P.E. and designed by Shelley Detton.
You can get your own pattern here, for just $5.00!!

As an added bonus, My friend Kristy over at Hopeful Threads is hosting a giveaway for anyone who makes from a Create H.O.P.E. pattern in the month of November. You can find all the details here.
