  7. We have a 2 acre yard and are going to be growing heritage vegetable varieties this summer. :) I just spent a couple hours tending the earth we live on, cleaning out flower beds, cleaning up horse manure, etc. The manure will eventually be tilled into our gardens.

I have a flower garden and veggie garden. I also order from a company who plants a tree each time I order certain items. This month, it is a shampoo, that will get the tree planted. :)

I think the fabrics are cool.

  13. My front yard is my pride and joy. It takes a lot of weeding, trimming and mulch in the spring but the work is worth the effort. I have a beautiful Japanese Maple in the front yard and a lilac..my two favorites as well as a ton of shrubs and flowers. Picking annuals has become our Mother's Day tradition.

    Thanks for the chance.

Oh I would love to get out into my garden and tend the earth....but for the last two weeks it has been raining, and raining, and raining it's hardly stopped and I am now totally fed up of it, we soon won't be able to see down the garden as the grass is so high!!! Not the weather I have come to expect in France!!! Hugs

  21. We have a huge garden every summer. Well, actually, my husband does the gardening since it seems that anything I plant (unless really hardy like Iris) dies. So, he gardens and I cook/can/freeze whatever we harvest.
