Leaving On A Jet Plane

My bags are packed (mostly), I'm ready to go...

I will be leaving for the International Quilt Market early, early, early Friday morning. I'm excited and nervous. It's probably an irrational fear, especially after working for Continental Airlines for 10 years (whom I will also be flying on), but I haven't flown since have Argyle. Mainly because I did not want to fly with an infant, and new baby = no money. I'm nervous, because, this is my first trip alone, in the sense that I will be leaving my babies behind. There have been a few TSA catches at my airport this week. I'm glad they are doing their job. I'm glad their equipment works. But, there is always that thought that, what if something happens? Not just to me, but to my family .... You never know ... I'm sure I'm overreacting....
I am excited to be going on a trip. I'm excited to see what is going to be produced in the coming months and what I can bring back for y'all. I'm excited at the possibility of meeting Ty Pennington, who will be debuting his new line as well.  Hubby will (hopefully) be taking over the orders in my absence. I apologize in advance for any delays that may occur in shipping. He's just not that up to date with all things fabric, even though It's probably what I talk most about. :)
Hope y'all have a great weekend. I already know mine is going to be fun and tiring. Very, very tiring. It doesn't help that in order to get the cheapest flight possible I have to connect with a 5 hour layover on the return. I am not looking forward to it.
"See" you next week!

  1. Hope you have a success Market Trip. I just wanted to say Love your Love Letters BOM and I signed up for it with my Sis in Law the other day. Loved the quilt and colors..so I linked it to my blog to share with my readers and invite them to join if they wanted to. Hope you don't mind. It's too pretty of a quilt not to share..plus I am going to use the blog to keep me going on my BOM Challenge. :)
